About FindYourSails

FindYourSails gathers Europe's sailing regattas in one shared calendar — 10,374 of them today — with results where they are public and a direct link to the organiser's own page for entry and details. The point is to find the next regatta, and see how the last one went, without searching twenty federation websites.

Who runs it

FindYourSails is a service operated by ArtByBearded AB, Swedish company registration no. 559558-0985.

The site is built and run from Östersund, Sweden. Questions, corrections and requests go to info@findyoursails.com — we reply within a day.

Where the data comes from

Three ways: organisers who add their own regattas, public calendars from federations and results systems, and results the organisers have published themselves. Every imported regatta names its source and links back to that regatta's own page at the source. The source owns the data — we display it.

We ask first wherever a source's terms require it, we read at a gentle rate with an identified user agent, and a source that asks us to stop is removed the same day. Entry lists are never counted as results.

Live tracking and replay for regattas sailed with Kwindoo are linked from each regatta's page as “Live Tracking & Replay on Kwindoo”. Kwindoo is a tracking tool, not an entry service.

What we never do

• Take entries or payments for anyone else's regatta. Entry always happens with the organiser.
• Charge for a regatta to appear in the calendar. Being listed is free for every organiser; a featured placement is paid for and marked as such.
• Show ads or partner links without labelling them. Everything commercial is marked as advertising.
• Treat a name in a results table as a person. Those pages are labelled as unclaimed sailing records and are not indexed.

Corrections

A wrong date is fixed fastest where it is maintained — with the organiser or the source — and every regatta page shows where that is. You can also write to us; we correct it and reply within a day.
