What you get

One free account, three things that grow with every season.

Logbook

Every sail you upload

  • The route on a map, from start to finish
  • Nautical miles, hours on the water and top speed
  • A speed chart and your fastest 500 m
  • Season totals that add up as you go

Career

Your racing, in one place

  • Your regattas and results, gathered from official result lists
  • Claim the results that are yours – only you can
  • Classes, seasons and best finishes at a glance

Calendar

Every regatta near you

  • Regattas across Europe, filtered by class, area and date
  • Follow clubs and classes, and save the ones you're aiming for
  • A calendar you subscribe to on your phone

Your tracks are yours

The plain-words version, before you upload anything.

  • Private by default

Only you can see your sails. Not other sailors, not your crew, not search engines.

  • Export and delete anytime

Download every original file whenever you like. Delete a sail and the file and every number calculated from it are gone for good.

  • We never sell location data

Where you sail is your business. We don't sell your tracks or your location – not to advertisers, not to anyone.

  • Tracks never affect results

A GPS track is your own record, not evidence. It never changes a race result or the Sailing Index.

How it works

Three steps and a couple of minutes.

  1. Export a GPX

From your chartplotter, sailing watch or the app you track with. Most have an export or share button that saves a .gpx file.

  2. Upload it

Drop in one file or a whole summer's worth. The file is read in your browser and the original is stored privately.

  3. See your season

Route, miles, speeds and hours on the water for every sail – and your season totals, growing as you go.

Questions

Which devices and apps work?

Anything that can export a GPX track with timestamps: chartplotters and navigation apps such as Garmin, Navionics or SailGrib, sports watches, a Strava export or a GPS tracking app on your phone. The logbook reads the open GPX format – it doesn't connect to those services, and we have no partnership with them.

Do I have to race?

No. The logbook is for every sail – a Sunday on the bay, a delivery trip or a summer cruise. If you do race, your results can sit on your career page alongside it.

Who can see my sails?

Only you. Sails are private by default: they don't appear on your public sailor page, other sailors can't see them and search engines never index them.

Why does it say my file is a route, not a sail?

A GPX without timestamps is a planned route rather than a recorded track, so there is no time or speed to calculate. Export the recorded track (often called a track or an activity) instead.

What does it cost?

Nothing. The logbook comes with a free account, and no card is needed.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. You can download every original file and a manifest of your sails at any time, and deleting a sail removes it permanently.
